THE SEA, PERIOD BY PERIOD · The water sits around 19° across the season (September–May). Sep–Dec is a mild start, Jan–March the biggest swell, April–May settles down again. We drive from the camp to the spot that suits the day's conditions — the Atlantic sets the pace, we pack the right wetsuit.
